OMRAN Announces Soft Opening of dusitD2 Naseem Resort Jabal Akhdar



Muscat, 6 Jul (ONA) —- Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN Group), the executive arm of the Sultanate for tourism development, announced the soft opening of dusitD2 Naseem Resort in Al Jabal Al Akhdar, marking the commencement of its operational activities.


The four-star dusitD2 Naseem Resort Jabal Akhdar is the newest addition to OMRAN Group’s diverse hotel portfolio in the Sultanate. The resort draws inspiration from the natural and cultural characteristics of Al Jabal Al Akhdar, one of the most prominent tourist spots in the region. 


The resort will offer its visitors unmatched experiences and tourism products that combine both leisure and entertainment aspects in a distinctive way, thereby playing an important role in meeting the market needs and growing demand for new and innovative hotel facilities and tourist experiences in the country.

Comprising of 250 beautifully decorated contemporary rooms and suites, and located on the Saiq Plateau, an area of natural beauty in Al Jabal Al Akhdar at an altitude of 2,000 meters, the resort is only 2 hours by car from Muscat International Airport. It features panoramic views of the surrounding Al Hajar mountain range, along with several facilitates, to be opened at a later stage, including an 8,000 sqm Adventure Park, and other experiences inspired from the local heritage and culture, such as traditional olive oil and rose water distilleries and other amenities that offer the perfect environment for an exciting, yet relaxing stay.


dusitD2 Naseem Resort, Jabal Akhdar is the second hotel property owned and developed by OMRAN Group in Jabal Al Akhdhar. In 2014, OMRAN launched its iconic Alila Jabal Akhdar Resort, which underpinned the Group’s pioneering role in catalysing growth in various governorates and represented a significant milestone that contributed to attracting local and global visitors to Jabal Al Akhdhar and the Sultanate.


Marking its debut in the Sultanate, dusitD2 Naseem Resort, Jabal Akhdar will further create wider tourist dimensions in the country, boost domestic tourism and attract tourists from around the world to explore the spectacular scenery of Oman and embark on various outdoor adventure experiences.
