Muscat, 25 Nov (ONA) — The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion today launched “Made in Oman” campaign under the auspices of Asilah Salim Al Samsami, Investment Promotion Undersecretary.
The one-month campaign is organized in cooperation with Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn) and the Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (ASMED).
A corner for Omani products was opened at the Lulu Hypermarket in Al Ghubra, Muscat today, marking the launch of the campaign.
Eng. Ridha Juma Al Saleh, OCCI Chairman, said that launching the Made in Oman Campaign coincides with the 51st National Day.
He added that the campaign aims to support the Omani products at the local and foreign levels.
He pointed out that the Omani Products corner included around 100 companies, which showcased more than 5,000 diverse products. He explained that the step proves the high quality standards of the Omani products.
